Meet your photographer!
I'm Abby! I'm currently 25, living in Riverside, CA with my husband Josh and our pup Piper Toast! I love all things summer and I adore meeting new people so this job is the perfect fit. The first question I always get from anyone that finds out I do this for a living asks "did you major in photography?" the answer is actually no! I majored in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in Global Justice and got a minor in Marketing and photography. I couldn't choose one and I loved college so I crammed as many classes as I could into those 4 years. I started my business in 2020 and I graduated in 2021!
Josh and I met the 2nd day of college and it was love at first sight. I did friend-zone him for 6 months but we got together in the spring of 2018. We've been inseparable ever since.
Josh grew up in Papua, Indonesia so travel is a huge part of our lives. So far we've been to Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Indonesia! We just visited Papua, Indonesia for a whole month this Christmas! We went diving in Raja Ampat for a week and then spent the rest of the time in Sentani with Josh's family eating street food and exploring!
I can't wait for our next adventure and to see where we go!

Peek into my life..
Josh and I met and fell in love at California Baptist University! We both majored in Intercultural Studies and I got minors in photography and marketing and he got a minor in psych. I officially launched Abby Brown Photo my senior year of college and Josh went on to get his master's degree in Public Health!
We hope to move out of California soon, buy a home, start a family then eventually move to Bali and settle down there!

Peek into my life..
We got married in May of 2020 and has a covid wedding! We had 13 people there and Josh's parents were stuck overseas and we zoomed them in so they could still be apart of our day. It was honestly so special and we made the best out of the situation.
I planned two separate weddings due to this and I do feel like its helped me be flexible and helpful to my couples as they tackle wedding planning!

Throwing it wayyyyy back. I grew up in Santa Barbara County and mainly grew up in Solvang, Ca! You probably know it as the the famous danish tourist town!
Here's some pics of little abby! I loved taking photos (OBVI), riding dirtbikes, and getting dirty. My family would go to Colorado every year and fish, catch snakes, and shoot compound bows. We did a fair bit of traveling as well!
